Swing

A swing in winter,
snow covering its red seat, untouched
means play resumes in summer.

  2. Definitely sings of the imagism prompt--what a great photo and word-picture.

  3. That bit of curved rope-end looks as if the rope is holding its breath, waiting for the next swinger to come and play. Goegeous photo, ripe with promise and the poem fits it nicely.

  5. Now THAT is imagism, short and simple. :) I love how you make the coat of snow the protector and salvation of the swing, holding place until a summer bum arrives to plant itself at home.
